- Alwin Karl Haagner (1 June 1880– 15 September 1962) was a South African ornithologist who served for a decade as the director of the Pretoria Zoological Gardens.
- He wrote numerous works on South African birds and was instrumental in the establishment of Kruger National Park and in early measures to protect South African wildlife.
