Arina Tanemura (?? ??, Tanemura Arina, born March 12, 1978) is a Japanese manga artist, illustrator, and character designer.
She made her professional manga debut in 1996 with the short comic The Style of the Second Love in the shojo manga magazine Ribon Original.
After receiving positive feedback, Tanemura published her first series, I.O.N, in 1997, in the main Ribon magazine. In 1998, Tanemura published her first anthology, Short-Tempered Melancholic.
Later that year, she published Phantom Thief Jeanne, followed up with Time Stranger Kyoko and Full Moon o Sagashite, all of which received anime adaptations.
Afterwards, Tanemura published The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross and Sakura Hime: The Legend of Princess Sakura, both of which were serialized for several years, as well as Mistress Fortune. After leaving Ribon in 2011, Tanemura published Neko to Watashi no Kinyobi, Idol Dreams, and Akuma ni Chic × Hack.
She also co-authored Shunkan Lyle with her former assistant, Yui Kikuta.
She has also contributed character designs to various media projects, most notably Idolish7, to which she also provided artwork for the novel and manga adaptations.
