- Cindy Nell is a South African beauty queen and model turned business woman, who was crowned Miss South Africa 2002 and who represented South Africa in Miss Universe 2003 and was placed the second runner-up.She was born in 1981 in Pretoria into a military family. From 2003 onward she became a television presenter for the Afrikaans life style show Pasella, followed by shows like Woza Lunchtime for the 2010 World Cup soccer, the Grand Pavilion Cricket lifestyle show and as one of the 4 presenters in the popular reality show “The Wedding Bashers” she appeared as contestant and runner up in the South African 5th series of Strictly Come dancing and on Celebrity Survivor Santa Carolina.
