- Cooper Harold Langford III (October 14, 1934 – March 11, 2018) was an American-born Canadian chemist. He was born to the philosopher Cooper Harold Langford and his first wife in Ann Arbor, Michigan on October 14, 1934.
- The younger Langford attended Harvard University and Northwestern University before teaching at Amherst College.
- After leaving Amherst, Langford taught at Carleton University, Concordia University and University of Calgary.
- He was granted fellowship of the Royal Society of Canada in 1992.
- Cooper died of pancreatic cancer on March 11, 2018, while seeking treatment at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, British Columbia.
