David Ian Jones (born 22 March 1952) is a British Conservative Party politician and former solicitor.
He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Clwyd West since 2005.
He has held several ministerial posts in Westminster; most recently as Minister of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union.
He was dismissed from his role on 12 June 2017.He is the first Welsh secretary to have served as an Assembly Member, and the first Conservative Welsh Secretary to represent a Welsh constituency since Nicholas Edwards (1979–87).
In 2016, Jones joined the political advisory board of Leave Means Leave.
