- Eleanor May Tufts (February 1, 1927 – December 2, 1991) was a feminist art historian and professor of art history at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Her work as an author, historian and lecturer was key to the opening of the National Museum for Women in the Arts in 1974.
