- Gaber Ahmed Asfour (Arabic: ???? ???? ??????, IPA: ['gæ?be? ??s?'fu??] (born 25 March 1944 in El-Mahalla El-Kubra, Egypt) is an Egyptian professor at Cairo University since 1966, who was appointed as the Minister of Culture on 1 February 2011.
