- Georg Stumme (29 July 1886 – 24 October 1942) was a general in the Wehrmacht of Nazi Germany during World War II who briefly commanded the Axis forces at the beginning of the Second Battle of El Alamein, and was killed during the battle's Defence of Outpost Snipe.
