- Gord Smith, (October 8, 1937,Montreal- ) is a Canadian sculptor who sculpts geometric forms in metal and wood.
- His artwork is in the collections of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Confederation Centre Art Gallery and the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art.Smith studied Architecture at Sir George Williams University from 1956 to 1959.
- He went on to work with the architectural firm of Lawson Betts and Cash in Montreal from 1956 to 1958.
- In 1967, he was elected to the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (RCA).
- the same year he was commissioned to create Canada Screens for the Canadian pavillion at Expo 67.Smith was Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Arts of the University of Victoria from 1972 to 1975.
- In 1993–94, he assumed a teaching role as Visiting Professor in the Department of Art and History, McMaster University, Hamilton.
