- Harold Banner Steel (9 April 1862 – 29 June 1911) was an English cricketer active from 1883 to 1896 who played for Lancashire and Cambridge University.
- He was born in Liverpool and died in Burnham-on-Sea.
- He appeared in 36 first-class matches as a righthanded batsman who bowled right arm medium pace.
- He scored 1,042 runs with a highest score of 100 and held 20 catches.

- Harold Steel did not return to Uppingham.
