- Herbert Wendell Gallagher (January 30, 1911 – October 25, 1992) was an American ice hockey and baseball coach and college athletics administrator.
- He served two stints as the head ice hockey coach at Northeastern University, from 1936 to 1942 and 1946 to 1955.
- Gallagher was also the head baseball coach at Northeastern from 1938 to 1942 and from 1946 to 1955.
- He was the school's athletic director from 1955 to 1976 and a backfield coach for the football program.
