About Ichir Kno
- Ichiro Kono (Japanese: ????) (June 2, 1898 – July 8, 1965) was a Japanese politician representing a portion of Kanagawa prefecture.
- He joined first now-defunct Liberal Party (Japan, 1945) and then Liberal Democratic Party (Japan).
- As a significant member of the latter, he served as minister several times.
- He is also known the root of politician family tree which consist of his younger brother of Kenzo Kono, his second son Yohei Kono, and his grandfather and Yohei's son Taro Kono.
- He graduated in politics from Waseda University where was known as competent athlete.
- Later he eventually served as President of the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (1965).
