About Jake Adicoff
Jake Adicoff also known as Jacob Adicoff, Jake the Snake, or The Jaker (born May 16, 1995) is an American visually impaired cross-country skier and biathlete.
He competed at the Winter Paralympics in 2014 and 2018.Jake Adicoff claimed his first Paralympic medal after clinching a silver medal in the men's 10km visually impaired cross-country skiing event during the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
Notably, he dedicated the silver medal to Mugsy, his dog.Aside from skiing, Jake also holds the world record for longest wheelie by a skid loader, under his pseudonym Jake Hatch.
Aside from skids, in his free time Jake enjoys operating other heavy machinery like dump trucks, front end loaders, back end loaders and other industrial grade equipment.
Jake uses this work to complement his skiing ability and to supplement his strength training regimen.
