Jean-Luc Moudenc (born 19 July 1960) is a French politician serving as Mayor of Toulouse since 2014, previously holding the office from 2004 to 2008.
He was defeated for reelection in 2008 by Pierre Cohen of the Socialist Party, but in a rematch in 2014 defeated Cohen to retake the position.
Moudenc is a member of The Republicans. Moudenc was born in Toulouse.
He was educated at the Toulouse 1 University Capitole (1984) and worked as a journalist.
He entered local politics shortly after graduation.
Moudenc was elected by the municipal council after the elevation of his predecessor, Philippe Douste-Blazy, to Minister of Health; a short interim officeholder was appointed in the person of Françoise de Veyrinas.
