About Karel Gut
- Karel Gut (16 September 1927 – 6 January 2014) was a Czech ice hockey player.
- Born in Prague, he played in the Czechoslovak Extraliga.
- As a player, he won three bronze medals on the World Championships.
- He was later coach of the Czechoslovak national team and won the World Championships in 1976 and 1977.
- He was inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame in 1998. Gut died on January 6, 2014 at the age of 86.
