- Lachlan Ashwell Grant (4 October 1923 – 27 April 2002) was a New Zealand rugby union player.
- Born in Temuka, Grant is regarded as that town's finest rugby product.
- A flanker and lock, Booth represented South Canterbury at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1947 to 1951.
