- George Lewis McCarty (November 17, 1888 in Milton, Pennsylvania – June 9, 1930 in Reading, Pennsylvania) was a professional baseball player who played catcher from 1913 to 1921.
- He appeared in the 1917 World Series as a member of the New York Giants.
- During his career in which he appeared in the major leagues in 9 consecutive seasons, McCarty was used almost exclusively as a catcher, with the exception of 17 games at first base.
