- Marc Zimmer (born July 26, 1961) is the Jean Tempel '65 Professor of Professor of Chemistry at Connecticut College.
- He has published five books (Solutions for a Cleaner, Greener Planet: Environmental Chemistry (2019), Optogenetics (2018), Bioluminescence(2015), Illuminating Disease (2015) and Glowing Genes (2005)), written articles on science and medicine for the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, the Huffington Post, etc.
