- Maria Leonidovna Pakhomenko (Russian: ????? ?????????? ?????????; 25 March 1937 – 8 March 2013) was a Soviet and Russian singer, a holder of the title of People's Artist of Russia since 1999.
- She is probably most known for the song Stoyat Devchonki (Russian: ????? ????????), composed by Alexander Kolker) and for her version of School Waltz (Russian: ???????? ?????).The song that brought her fame was Kachaet, kachaet...
- (Russian: ??????, ??????...) that she recorded for the theater play Idu na Grozu (Russian: ??? ?? ?????) in 1963.
- It was the first solo song she ever recorded and it took a lot of effort by her future husband, composer Aleksander Kolker, to persuade her to do it.
