About Marion Sénones
- Marion Sénones, born Marcelle Borne, was a French painter and illustrator. Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, she spent her childhood and early life in Rennes where she learned design and painting at the School of Fine Arts.
- In 1917 she moved to Paris where she was editorial secretary of several reviews, including L’Europe nouvelle and Ève. In 1931, she met ethnologist Odette du Puigaudeau.
- The two women spent several years doing field work with the nomads of western Sahara.
- Sénones illustrated a large number of Puigaudeau's books.
