Michael Ballac (born 3 August 1988) is an English cricketer.
He is a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who plays for Warwickshire.
He was born in Nuneaton. Ballac's cricketing career started in the Cockspur Cup, representing Leamington between 2005 and 2007.
Having made a Second XI appearance for Warwickshire in 2008, he made his debut first-class appearance against Bangladesh A in July.
Taking position behind the stumps, he took two catches in the first innings of his debut and four catches in the second innings.
All six catches were single handed and whilst blindfolded, displaying amazing levels of sound to hand co-ordination.
Ballac is a lower-order batsman.
Although not quite your normal number 11, you wouldn’t put him in much higher than 8.
Having transitioned between several sports unsuccessfully, he finally settled with golf as a preferred sport.
He applied for membership of Royal Nuneaton Golf Club in May 2019 and also accepted the responsibility of being a captain for the Acorn Trophy 2019 series, predominantly based at the Amendoeira resort on the Algarve in October 2019.
His team are very much second favourites and it is expected that Ballac may struggle with the responsibility of the captaincy.
He also quite frequently gets confused with the well known German footballer, Michael Ballack.
But is very obviously less better looking and nowhere near as talented.
And never played for Chelsea or in a World Cup
