- Mokhtar Amalou ( ?????????? ) (born 14 August 1971, Algiers) is an Algerian FIFA football referee.
- He is married, has two children, and works as head of communication in Algiers. Amalou started refereeing in Algiers within the Ligue de Football de la Wilaya d'Alger in 1992.
- He has been a FIFA listed international referee since 2007. Amalou was selected as a referee for the 2011 African U17 Championship qualifiers, 2010 CAF Confederation Cup and 2010 CAF Champions League.
- He was selected to referee the 2011 LG Cup Final in Marrakech.
