About Nicolae Berechet
- Nicolae Berechet (April 16, 1915, Diosti, Dolj County – August 14, 1936, Berlin) was a Romanian boxer who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics. On August 11, 1936 he was eliminated in the first round of the featherweight class after losing his fight to Evald Seeberg.
- A few days after the match he died mysteriously of blood poisoning and was buried in Berlin.
