- He was born on 26 January 1968 in Vidin, Bulgaria.
- In 1985, he graduated the Mathematical High School in Vidin and was accepted to study computer science in Sofia University.
- Later, after studying polytechnics for two semesters in Hungary, he moved to study Hungarian philology in the University of Debrecen, which he graduated in 1994.
- From 1998 to 2005 he taught Hungarian language and literature in Sofia University.
