- Richard Kevin Sherman (born March 30, 1988) is an American football cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL).
- He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
- He has been selected to the Pro Bowl five times and voted All-Pro four times, including three times to the first team.
- He led the NFL in interceptions in 2013, when he also helped the Seahawks win their first Super Bowl. Sherman played college football for the Stanford Cardinal, beginning his career as a wide receiver before moving to cornerback as a junior.
- He was drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
