- Thaddeus Laddins Betts (February 4, 1789 – April 7, 1840) was the 12th and 14th Lieutenant Governor of the state of Connecticut from 1832 to 1833 and from 1834 to 1835, and a United States Senator from Connecticut from 1839 to 1840.
