About Tim Farron
- Timothy James Farron (born 27 May 1970) is a British politician who was the Leader of the Liberal Democrats between July 2015 and July 2017.
- He resigned following the 2017 United Kingdom general election.He is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Westmorland and Lonsdale, having first been elected in 2005 and re-elected at the 2010, 2015, 2017 and 2019 general elections. Farron was the President of the Liberal Democrats from January 2011 to December 2014.
- Since 7 February 2019 he has been the Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Communities and Local Government, serving alongside Housing Spokesperson The Lord Shipley.
