About Tornike Rizhvadze
- Tornike Rijvadze (Georgian: ??????? ???????; born 25 March 1989) is a Georgian business executive and politician.
- On 21 July 2018, he was elected as Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. Born in the town of Khulo, Rijvadze graduated from the Tbilisi State University with a degree in law in 2011.
- He holds MIB from Batumi State University (2014), LL.M from the University of London (2013), and PhD from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (2015).
- He worked for various private companies, as well as the Government of Ajara before taking the position the Deputy Minister of Energy of Georgia in July 2017.
- On December 26, 2017, he became CEO of the state-owned Georgian Energy Development Fund.
- After the Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Zurab Pataradze, stepped down on 21 July 2018, Rizhvadze was nominated by the ruling Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party as his successor.
- His nomination was approved by Adjara's 21-member legislature on 21 July 2018.
