- Her surname also appears as Volach.
- She is considered a revolutionary Israeli feminist and post-modernist.
- Wallach never received formal higher education.
- Instead she learned from the world around her in Tel Aviv and experimented with many drugs, suffering from a few psychotic breaks and exploring the Jewish mysticism that influenced much of her work.
- She fell ill with breast cancer in 1981 and refused treatment for two years.
