About Bill Marolt
- William Charles "Bill" Marolt (born September 1, 1943) is a retired American alpine skier.
- He competed in the giant slalom at the 1964 Winter Olympics and placed 12th.
- Domestically he won for NCAA titles.After graduating from the University of Colorado, Marolt worked as a ski coach there, leading his team to seven consecutive NCAA titles in 1972–78.
- He then became a national coach, but after the 1984 Winter Olympics returned to Colorado, where he served as athletic director for 12 years.
- In 1996 he was appointed as President of United States Ski and Snowboard Association.
- He is a member of the National Ski Hall of Fame and the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.
- His elder brother Max was also an Olympic alpine skier.
