About Ruzi Nazar
- Ruzi Nazar (1 January 1917 – 30 April 2015) was an Uzbek nationalist who spent most of his adult career working for the CIA against the Soviet Union.
- He was born in Soviet Central Asia at the time of the Russian Revolution.
- After joining the Nazi collaborationist movement during World War II, Nazar lived most of his life in exile, first in Germany and then in the United States and Turkey.
- During three decades from the early 1950s he was a CIA officer serving for eleven years in the American Embassy in Ankara and then for a decade in Bonn.
- He also worked on clandestine missions in Teheran in 1979 and Afghanistan in the early 1980s.
